
DESIGN PROCESS
My role in this project is a UI/UX designer, which is something I have knowledge of, but never tried back then. 20°C is the very first project that I get to work on this major part of the game. And here is how I design the UX/UI.

Planning & Research

Understand the theme and world settings of the game.

Utilize the core aspect of gameplay. Which part can be adapted to the interactive UI?

Gather references. What does the photo processing room look like? What is the aesthetic like back in the 90s?

Drafting

Create a mockup layout.

Sketch the visual design.

Connect every key feature screens into a playable wireframe prototype.

Testing & Adjusting

Find testers to play the prototype and gather feedback.

Analyze the feedback for what can be improved or still missing.
04
Finalize
-
Once the team agreed to finalize, contact the artist team to create the real assets and programmers to work on the functional system.

Assemble all the assets and system in Unity editor.
